Agonie Douce - Prologue

Throughout my life, there have been many changes, few of them pretty: no matter how I age or what happens to me, though, the one constant is nature. I love it: the soft grass, the towering trees, the brilliant flowers, the gentle (and not so gentle) creatures. From my birth, the forest was my own, and I was a part of my own world that was populated only by myself, my father, and the animals.  
 
 That isn’t to say that I didn’t know of the existence of other people; I knew it well. I had memories of my mother from when I was young, and father occasionally brought me to town, so I had a sense that there was a world, of

Sorry I've not posted anything in Christ-knows-how-long-- things have been terribly busy. I should hopefully have the next chapter up sometime soon, but I don't want to pressure myself because, well, I've got enough of that already.

Oh, I know, he's great. And he just seems very...I don't know. Like he's almost seperate from the other characters in the movie--off in his own little world. :D I think it's partly the power and partly the fact that I feel a little sorry for him.
